Fund Purpose: Scholarship fund awarded to an NP learner in their advanced assessment course (588 course), awarded each semester at the White Coat Ceremony.
Fund Eligibility: To be considered for an FNP scholarship from the Nightingale Foundation, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria.
- Must be a current Nurse Practitioner Learner (either the MSN FNP Program or the Master of Science in Nursing Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - MSN PMHNP Program) in their advanced assessment course – MSN 588 in Spring 2026 semester.
- Must be in good academic standing (3.0 or higher GPA as of MSN 588 course).
Nightingale Foundation understands that academic standing can shift during master degree programs. As such, all learners who are in the MSN 588 are encouraged to apply and final eligibility will be determined by week 15.
Award Details: Two scholarships will be awarded each calendar year, in the amount of $1,000 each. Distribution will be conducted after add/drop in Summer Semester of 2026 in one lump sum ($1,000) to Nightingale College on the learners behalf. In order for scholarship funds to be processed, awardees must be actively enrolled in the program and in good academic standing.
Scholarship awards may be used for tuition, fees, travel, supplies, and any other educational expenses the learner deems necessary to complete their degree. Learners must work with their Learner Funding Advisor at Nightingale College to manage their funds.
Application Instructions & Deadlines: Applications are being accepted between January 9, 2026 and March 8, 2026 at 11:59PM. Eligible learners can apply via the application in Submittable. No applications will be accepted after March 8, 2026 at 11:59PM.
Please complete all required fields fully and to the best of your knowledge. This application is what the NP Scholarship Review Committee reviews to determine scholarship awards. Please be sure to represent yourself in a way that the committee can understand who you are and how you plan to elevate through nursing education.
